Worth Dying for: a Historical and Conceptual Analysis of Honor
A guided discussion/lecture that will present a brief survey of Ancient, Medieval and contemporary ideas concerning honor. The discussion will end with a brief philosophical argument as to the nature of honor and why it is still a valid moral concept, and an open ended discussion as to the implications of the presented position.
